The three-day China International Battery Fair 2023 (CIBF2023) is held at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao’an New Exhibition Hall) from May 16 to May 18, and Hithium made a wonderful appearance with its innovative products such as the 320Ah new-generation electric energy storage battery.
Over the years, CIBF has become the trendsetter of the global battery industry and is at the forefront of industry exhibitions in terms of scale, industry influence, degree of specialization, international synergy and informatization enhancement, etc. The scale of CIBF2023 continues to expand. There are 12 exhibition halls in total covering an exhibition space of 240,000 square meters, with a year-on-year increase of 140%. This exhibition will showcase a series of innovative achievements in global energy storage batteries, EV batteries, 3C batteries, charging and swapping equipment and supporting facilities, as well as EV and energy storage system solutions.
At the exhibition, Hithium brings a full range of innovative energy storage products such as battery products for utility and residential energy storage products and solutions, as well as digital energy management platforms. In particular, the recently released 320Ah new-generation energy storage battery has received attention and positive feedback from the visitors.
The core of the development of the energy storage industry lies in cost and safety. As a key device for electrochemical energy storage, the safety and reliability of the energy storage battery are crucial. From the overall level of the energy storage system, Hithium focuses on the intrinsic safety of the energy storage battery, and lowers product costs at the same time.
The 320Ah new-generation energy storage battery cell has a high energy density of 385Wh/L, a long cycle life of 10,000cls. Due to its compatibility with existing designs, initial CAPEX can be significantly reduced, same as LCOS. Hithium’s 320 Ah battery cell comes with groundbreaking improvements compared to standard 280Ah battery, in cell cost, system cost, and configuration cost. The successful release of it is an important step for Hithium to bridge the logic of energy storage commercialization through product iteration and cost reduction by technology, which will help the development of energy storage industry and accelerate the large-scale application of energy storage.
In the context of global energy transformation, the development potential of the energy storage industry is huge, further driving the high growth of market demand for energy storage batteries; in the first quarter of 2023, Hithium has signed and won multiple orders, with a cumulative total of over 20GWh and total order value exceeding RMB 10 billion yuan. The shipment volume is more than 10 times that of the same period last year. In the future, Hithium will continue to focus on customers, accelerate R&D and technological innovation, and collaborate with customers from various industries to promote the development of the energy storage industry and help achieve the “net-zero” goal.
